The 18th Annual Pleasure Island Chowder Cook-Off on April 12th, 2014 at Carolina Beach Lake Park features chefs from area restaurants and their finest efforts in seafood soups and stews. The family friendly event also includes live music by the Mark Roberts Band, and a Kidz Zone with face painting and bounce houses. Other refreshments available will include hot dogs, funnel cakes, soda, and beer and wine.
The event will take place from 11:30am to 5:30pm at Carolina Beach Lake Park, located on Atlanta Avenue. Admission for the event is $6 per person, and kids under 13 are admitted free. Please, no coolers or pets allowed.
