Don’t miss the Annual Airlie Oyster Roast– always the third Friday in October. This year’s event is October 19, 2012.
This year’s roast will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Oct. 19th. Tickets are $75 each and include dinner, a peck of oysters and two spirituous beverages. Besides oysters, the menu features appetizers, Carolina BBQ and fish fry.
A cash bar also will be available. 
Heartbeat of Soul will provide live music on the main stage, and Sea Pans will entertain guests during the cocktail hour.
