36th Annual Wrightsville Beach Holiday Flotilla: Nov. 30th

The 36th Annual Flotilla weekend will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2019

Welcome to the North Carolina Holiday Flotilla at Wrightsville Beach. It is the Southern coastal version of a holiday parade – on water – at night.

The Flotilla Experience is a weekend full of fun events with something for everyone including an annual tree lighting ceremony with a visit from Santa on Friday, along with the Festival in the Park for families and children on Saturday afternoon prior to the actual Flotilla.

From our humble beginnings over thirty years ago, the Flotilla has grown to become one of the top 20 events in the Southeast and a must-see family weekend, attracting an estimated 50,000 people to Wrightsville Beach annually.

Also, don’t miss Santa and the Christmas Tree lighting at 5:30 on Friday, November 23rd at Wrightsville Beach Park. Come enjoy Christmas music and hot chocolate with Santa and Santa’s Elves.

FRIDAY, November 29th:

Tree Lighting + Visit With Santa • 5:30 pm @ Blockade Runner Resort

Tree lighting ceremony and visit with Santa at the Blockade Runner Resort. Tree lighting begins at 5:30 pm on Friday, November 29th, 2019. Santa will make an appearance.

Captain’s Meeting On Friday Night • 6:30 pm @ Blockade Runner Resort:

The Captain’s Meeting is on Friday, November 29th at 6:30 pm, at the Blockade Runner Resort.

SATURDAY, November 30th:

Festival In The Park & Antique, Classic & Special Interest Car Show • 10 am to 4 pm @ WB Park

The Festival in the Park is quickly becoming one of the highlights of the flotilla weekend. Held on Saturday, November 30th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the Blockade Runner Resort.. This year’s festival will include a large play area for children including several inflatable slides and bounce houses, the always popular Arab Choo Choo, festival food, and more.

In addition to the children’s area, the Festival in the Park also includes a large selection of arts and crafts booths displayed by local merchants and artisans, and the Antique, Classic & Special Interest Car Show.

Boat Parade + Fireworks • 6 pm @ Blockade Runner Resort

The boat parade begins at 6 pm with fireworks following the parade. The duration of the boat parade varies every year by the number of boat entries. There will be fireworks following the parade.
